Whether your love for the green is newly discovered or you've been head over heels for a while, we're right there with you! We've been plant lovers for the longest time. But every day, we find something new to love. It's a loop, really, and it never ends! (trust us)

Over all these years of bringing home/growing just about any plant we see, we've figured that we're definitely the obsessive, "you have to see my new plant"-type plant parents. But wait, are you still figuring out what kind you are?

• Plant Parenthood Becomes You! Let's Find Out What Kind of Parent You Are

1. The New Plant Parent

Really, the name says it all. 

You probably stumbled upon a post while scrolling social media, or you happened to somehow walk into a plant store. However the story started, you're here now, and chances are that you're probably ecstatic at the thought of so many choices. 

"All these plants look good.  Which one do I pick?!" Well, child, there's only one right answer—TAKE 'EM ALL. 

You'll see, you'll see what we mean.

2. The Child in a Toy Store (without supervision FYI)

You're obsessed. You go to a plant store or visit sites like Ugaoo every day. You simply... can't stop getting home plants!

You probably have no more space left, do you? Turn a corner, plants. Open a door, plants. Yup, we see you. Know how? Because we're right there with you!

We're rightfully obsessed too, and it's safe to say the obsession's real, babe. You're in it for life (possibly after life, too). 

No amount of plants is ever going to be enough. You see it, you want it, you most definitely got it.

Honestly, go for it! Bring home those plants because they'll definitely be making you happier than most people (you know who we mean)!

3. The No-Nonsense Plant Parent

You're in love with the green. But drama? You stay a good two feet away from that. 

So, your entire plant collection is basically just super low-maintenance plants. They're no-fuss, no-nonsense; only vibes. Just the way you want it! 

You've probably got a million snake plants and ZZs lying around, don't you? They're just chilling, and you're right there with them, sipping on your morning coffee with a (super chill) book in hand. 

4. The Super Succulent Trooper

(Yup, that is an ABBA reference)

Oh, you're parenting plants alright. But they're all succulents. You're addicted to bringing home those dainty little suckers, and how could we ever blame you? They're adorable!

We mean, just look at the fleshy little leaves of the Haworthia Cymbiformis! Could anyone ever say no to that face? 

You've probably got a garden full of cacti and succulents, and you're trying to figure out where to put your next one (yes, right next to your bed seems like a great idea). 

Been there, done that. We've got one too many succulents to say anything. If anything, we'd say you definitely have space for at least 10 more!

5. The Panicky-For-Days Plant Parent 

We're going to break it to you—you're definitely overthinking it! We've been here, too, done this, too. So, we can't really blame you.

That yellow leaf yesterday morning had you breaking a sweat, didn't it? And that drooping Peace Lily made you think you almost lost it, didn't it? 

Don't worry, it's nothing a little TLC won't fix! 

You're panicky because you're just starting out. But wait it out, and you'll get to that part where you just ✨go with the flow✨ and everything works out just fine!

Believe us—this, too, shall pass. 

6. The Plant Paparazzi/Parent

Your plants live under the flashing lights, don't they? 

Whether it's a new leaf on your Monstera or a tiny little bud about to open on your stunning Ixora, you document everything from start to end, and your gallery is flooded.

Yup, you're officially and certifiably your precious plant babies' paparazzi. From showing them off on the Gram to boasting about them to every person you meet, you do it all! 

As you should, friend, as you should. We do, too! 

Well, all these are milestones, and they definitely need to be documented!

From here on out, it's smooth sailing, sister! Get home even the trickiest plant (maybe like the Ficus Lyrata), and it's going to love being loved by you.
