About the Seeds

Radish is the most popular rooting vegetable in India. It grows well under mild to cool climates, however it can tolerate higher temperatures. Radish needs 6 to 8 hours of daily sunlight and in hot weather, radish can be grown along with Tomato, Okra, Amaranth, Cucumber & bitter gourd as companion shade plantations. Golden Radish (Pusa Chatki) is a hybrid, medium large, tender, and mildly pungent variety.

Radishes love the cool life! The best time to grow them is during early spring or autumn when temperatures are mild. In India, sow them from October to February for the juiciest roots. Too much heat makes them bolt and turn bitter — so stick to the chill seasons for the crunchiest results!

I bought seeds and garden soil, cocopeat & vermi compost from ugaoo. Unbelievable results! My radish seeds, carrot seeds, Spinach seeds and Frnu greek seeds have sprouted within 2 days of sowing! I have had bad experiences in past but this time i used everything from Ugaoo and have seen miracles. This pic is on 3rd day of sowing and i shall try to upload progressively!
